Tastes of the World at the Coca Cola Museum- LAS VEGAS BABY!

The next time you visit Las Vegas, in between the gambling, the drinking and the general debauchery, try and visit the Coca Cola Museum Store. This is a store dedicated totally to all things Coca Cola. While many of you may not want to contribute your hard earned money toward Coca Cola merchandise, the top floor features a bar serving (of course) Coca Cola and other Coca Cola Brand Sodas that you would typically find in the supermarket. They also serve some of the more strange Coca Cola mutations such as Coca Cola Black, which has Coca Cola mixed with Coffee, but ask for the Tastes of the World and you will get a tasting sample of 16 different sodas from all over the world. I will list what we were able to sample along with my opinions on the soda.1. Lilt (UK)- This is an interesting and light citrus soda. Not too sweet, but very refreshing.
2. Kin Cider (Ireland)- Again not too dramatic in taste, very subtle. Not bad.
3. Stony Ginger Beer (South Africa)- Not a fan of this.
4. Fanta Mandarin (China)- Tastes like a typical orange soda we would get here. Think Sunkist.
5. Vegitabeta (Japan)- Weird, kinda of powdery taste. Lightly carbonated. I didn't like it.
6. Mezzo Mix (Germany)- Sweet and carbonated, nice.
7. Beverly (Italy)- Oh my God! Terrible! Cough Medicine!
8. Smart Apple (China)- Think Sparkling Cider
9. Fanta Orange (China)- Tasted exactly like Fanta Mandarin
10. Mello Yello (USA)- Citrusy Sweet
11. Passion Fruit (Argentina)- Very tropical tasting. Good.
12. Kinley Lemon (Israel)- Probably my favorite, Lemony Goodness
13. Fanta Tropical (France)- Okay, not too bad.
14. Krest Gingerale (Israel)- Standard Ginger Ale
15. Fanta Kolita (Costa Rica)- I liked it. I couldn't exactly place the flavor though.
16. Lift Apple (Mexico)- Like Sparkling Cider, but sweeter and more syrupy.
Again, next time you visit Vegas give it a try. The Samples given can serve about 4 people. Don't expect to finish it all by yourself.
